Kitchen Repeat daisy pattern

I have been printing more repeat patterns onto fabric for the wallpaper panels of rooms. This daisy pattern will be for the kitchen and is inspired by Peggy's wallpaper. I have screenprinted three panels that are 5 feet by 10 feet, although the final quilt size will be 9 by 10 feet.

Rosenbach Workshop

This weekend I led a book making workshop for kids at the Rosenbach's annual Sendak in Spring festival. Everyone made origami books inspired by Ruth Krauss and Maurice Sendak's A Hole is to Dig (1952).

After constructing their books, the kids randomly selected nouns and verbs written on small pieces of paper and came up with silly things to draw like "An igloo is to snorkle" or "A barn is to sing to" as shown in the example above by Greg Pizzoli.
