Exterior Decoration Project: The Chair

The chairs have finally been printed and pasted, and as of yesterday all of them were still standing. Locations include:
Montgomery and Germantown Ave
13th and Carpenter
23rd and Kimball
13th and Green
13th and Wallace.
13th and Hamilton.

I am also putting together a video of the different sites for my thesis exhibition in May.

A Foreign Response

I am curating the show 'A Foreign Response' in the ground corridor of Anderson Hall at The University of the Arts. The exhibit is up from April 7th - 30th and the reception is April 11th from 6-8 pm. Greg (doctorpizzoli.blogspot.com) printed this awesome poster for the show.

This will be my next addition to the Exterior Decoration Project, as soon as I find a big enough screen and some willing and able helpers.

Mistakes Were Made Poster

I just screenprinted this poster for the MFA I Works in Progress show next week. The characters were self-selected to represent each of the first-year grad students.

Nesting Part I

Hotel Art

While in my hotel in Dallas I decided to start a new project where I make and install a piece of art for every hotel room I stay in. The top pouchoir painting is mine and the bottom picture of instruments is the print the hotel had hung on the other wall of the room.

Exterior Decoration Project

I am working on this project for my thesis show this Spring. We wheat pasted four desks in south philly last night. One was already torn down by this morning. I will be adding a lamp, clock, mirror and wastebasket soon, and also plan to print a couch, light fixtures and a side table. There are also images of a control site from the hallway of Anderson at UArts.
