Process pics: Letterpressed business cards

I estimated that making these business cards took about 17 hours plus the cost of materials. Even though I have 400 of them, I hesitated when my Mom asked me for one. A wonderful process and with great results, but $20 offset printing may be in my future.

First I drew a pattern and screenprinted it on 100 pt. cover from French Paper.

Next Amanda and I set the type, being creative with @ symbols and the lack of "y" letters.

We spent about six hours setting up the press and correcting/packing the type. We then printed the 50 sheets in about 25 minutes.

I cut down the cards on the UArts board sheer.

Final product.

Leroy's fridge

Positive for Leroy's fridge, a little over five feet tall and hopefully only six screens.
